Gazprom Neft and the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug agreed to jointly develop unmanned transport in Yugra

Gazprom Neft and the government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug have signed an agreement aimed at introducing the use of self-driving cars «Gazelle» and KAMAZ in the territory of the district. This agreement will expand opportunities for the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in logistics operations and other areas of the company's activities in the region.

The agreement also allows Gazprom Neft to test and use unmanned aircraft that monitor the company's oil pipelines and production infrastructure.

Gazpromneft-Khantos is already using UAVs to monitor highways and oil production facilities, which makes it possible to increase the safety of the company's infrastructure operation and significantly reduce the response time to emergencies.

Today, more than 60% (about 7000 km) of the total length of Gazprom Neft pipelines are partially or fully controlled using UAVs equipped with photo and video cameras, as well as thermal imagers.
