KUB-E barrage ammunition will be exported
2023-02-27

The KUB-E guided munition complex has received export approvals, which makes it possible to promote this product abroad.
"The group of companies together with Rosoboronexport JSC is ready to start promoting the KUB UAV to the international market, including during intergovernmental commissions and international exhibitions. It should be noted that this drone already has successful experience in combat use, confirmed in real conditions," the press service of the Kalashnikov Group specified.
The KUB-E hovering ammunition was developed at ZALA Aero (part of the Kalashnikov group), and in November 2021 it successfully passed state tests. In 2022 it is scheduled for serial delivery to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"Today there are practically no drones with similar weight and dimensions in the world market. The dimensions of CUB are 1210*950*165 mm, while it can carry a payload of up to 3 kg," said in "Kalashnikov".
The CUBs can be used to strike infrastructure objects, enemy manpower, as well as lightly armored targets. The CUB operates silently and reaches a speed of up to 130 km/h thanks to an electric propulsion system and can spend up to 30 minutes in flight.
The fact that CUBs will be in demand in the global market is evidenced by the interest shown in them by foreign customers during the first public demonstration at the international exhibition "IDEX-2019" in Abu Dhabi.

The Biryuch Innovation Center conducted successful flight tests of the prototype of a new model of unmanned aerial vehicle - a cargo drone. The drone is supposed to be used in emergency situations to deliver cargoes and evacuate victims.
In the nearest future an experiment on implementation of unmanned aircraft systems will start in five regions of Russia. Resolutions to this effect were signed by the Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin.
RN-Purneftegaz, which is part of Rosneft's oil and gas production complex, is increasing overflights of production facilities and pipelines using Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in 2022. The number of aerial monitoring routes increased from 8 to 17, monthly kilometers increased to 6,700 km.
