THE EFKO GROUP HAS SUCCESSFULLY TESTED A PROTOTYPE OF THE HI-FLY CARGO DRONE

The Biryuch Innovation Center conducted successful flight tests of the prototype of a new model of unmanned aerial vehicle - a cargo drone. The drone is supposed to be used in emergency situations to deliver cargoes and evacuate victims.
The prototype is already capable of flying distances of up to 20 km, reaches speeds of up to 100 km/h and can carry cargoes of up to 170 kg.
Within the frames of the tests, there was simulated an emergency situation when the drone delivered medical cargo weighing 100 kg in drone mode to the destination place, and then returned with a casualty weighing 80 kg.
The model has good prospects not only in helping rescue units, but also in the context of the development of projects to build infrastructure for the delivery of goods on the "last mile" of the logistics chain (a joint project with Aeroscript and other domestic partners).
The cargo drone was the second prototype in the Hi-Fly line after the aerotaxi, which was presented in December 2021. Over the past few months, the Hi-Fly team has done serious work on import substitution of the aircraft's components. The project ecosystem now includes 25 domestic companies developing various assemblies and subsystems. In the UAV version presented on the video, 70% of the components are Russian. The next modification will consist of 100% Russian components.
As part of the production and testing infrastructure of the project in January 2022 the construction of the production center was completed and put into operation, in March - the hangar for year-round and all-weather testing with an area of 2 thousand square meters and a height of 12 meters was built.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are urgently replacing American M777 howitzers with Soviet ones due to Lancet drones in the Kupyansk direction, the media reported.
The KUB-E guided munition complex has received export approvals, which makes it possible to promote this product abroad.
