The American company Amazon has introduced a flying camera for the home.

At the end of September, Amazon division Ring introduced Always Home Cam - home security camera with a drone mode. While on the dock, the camera is charged, but at the owner's command, the drone mode is activated, the camera leaves the dock and flies along a pre-set route. Drone mode can also be activated by a triggered home alarm. In this case, the owner of the house will receive a notification on his smartphone and start a video broadcast from the room.

Always Home Cam is a copter – type drone. It is safe for indoor use as the propellers are protected by grilles, which eliminates the fact of injuries to people and animals. While many UAVs on the market are made as quiet as possible, Always Home Cam is specially made noisy to warn others about approaching, and to deter intruders. The camera records video in 1080p resolution and turns on only during takeoff. The device will go on sale in 2021. It will cost $250.
